● Creativity inspired me through watching cartoon and anime shows, in which I was as early as 4 years old I learned art.
○ Digital art was fully introduced to me when I was 1st year in SHS. [FYI. Education levels in PH: 1-2 years in kindergarten, 6 years in Elementary, 6 years in Highschool (4 yrs - JHS, 2 yrs - SHS) and 4-5 years in college]
● My first drawing app was drawshow, Later introduced to Ibispaint X and even until now, I still use the app.
○ I use my phone and finger back then since 2019, and after I opened my commissions, earning an amount, I got my first ever Samsung tab S9 FE+ in late 2024.
● It did not just helped me with my hobby but also provided me efficient use for studying during my university student years. Why do you draw faceless arts?
○ It is strongly because of religious concerns. I was in the middle of JHS that someone informed me about the ruling of art in Islam, that drawing complete features was impermissible.
● However, some approved that drawing with complete features is okay and safe, as long as it is not realistic, and purposeful (medical, architecture, etc.). But to my perspective and what most scholars approved, I keep what I should not to be competitive with الله تعالى. Here I found a video based: https://youtu.be/cxHr6VglyWo?si=QkoSC1RbgJfksN-4.
○ And I hesitated until I reached 1st year in college and finally understood its concept.
● As a person who enjoys art, it was a struggle for a new change of stylization and very thankful to those people who continued their support of my change^^. One reason that I use art as only hobby and skill.Who inspired you to draw faceless arts and backgrounds?
○ While understanding the concept of art in my faith, I was inspired by those muslim artists doing the same job as me and making profit with their art.
● It was very creative, and for me, it give me a progression of idea that one day, I can make a drawing and sell something simplistically beautiful with my own creativity.
○ And my greatest inspiration with illustration concepts was the Korean artist @ryepe and Poland artist @toshiasan on Instagram.
●One artist also that inspires me and creates artworks that do not draw fully the faces even it wasn't because of their faith was @lulu8930430.
